Our library could not run successfully without the help of volunteers. The library is governed by six library board members who are appointed by the Village President, and one school district appointee.  

Library cards are free, and all Marshall residents are encouraged to get one.  Check out books, digital books, audiobooks, cds, dvds, blu-rays, video games, ukuleles, Kindles, entertaining travel kits for kids, Wii-U and Ninetendo 2DS consoles, rubber stamp sets, furniture moving pads, and more.

Services include internet access, printing, copying, faxing, scanning, tech help, resume writing assistance, genealogy tools, and Consumer Reports.

The Marshall Library also offers a variety of free educational experiences all year round, including art nights, gardening programs, music classes, informational seminars, and more.  Regular programs include: Senior Aerobics (Mondays at 10am), Smart Start Story Time (Thursdays at 10am), Card Crafting Club (1st Tuesday of each month 6-7pm), Book Club (third Tuesday of every other month, from 6-8pm), and a Summer Reading Program for all ages (June-August).
