The Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing opportunities that promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen community, facilitate collaboration while improving the health of individuals, families and our community.

Camping at Langer Park is $10 per night per vehicle or campsite for those not driving vehicles. Camping is first come first serve and no reservations will be taken. We currently ask that each camper place money with a piece of paper in the green donation bin near the restroom/parking lot until we get self registration forms. Any vehicles or campers will be subject to ordinance violation ticket (per ordinance section 12-1-1-b-26). No RVs or campers allowed to stay overnight in the parking lot. Campers are not authorized to drive their vehicles into the park to set up camping equipment or park overnight. All vehicles must remain in the parking lot.Please visit Whistle Stop campground in the Village for more camping opportunities. They can be reached at 608-655-3080 or www.whistlestopcampground.com.
Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8-3:30pm and Friday 8-12:30pm.
Parks Committee monthly meetings are generally held the last Monday of each month, 7:00pm at the Municipal Building. Please stop by and share your thoughts or wishes in regards to opportunities that you would like to see provided.
The Department works closely with a number of organizations to provide a variety of recreational opportunities. On any given day you can watch or participate in softball, volleyball, baseball, fishing, disc golf, skateboarding, football, soccer, and other unique experiences focused on families having fun, the community coming together, and an active lifestyle.
